Ojok Simon

Managing director & Co-founder

I am a partially sighted Ugandan who grew up from a rural community and I have been practising honey bee keeping and marketing for the last ten years. I have seen many talented blind and partially sighted people leaving their families and travel to urban areas in search of better opportunities, which most of them end up on streets since there are limited employments. Because I know that there is high demand for bee products worldwide which provide ready market, I am appling my knowledge, skills and experience to empower rural blind and partially sighted person become independent, self reliant and role models in the communities through training them in bee keeping and supporting them with bee hives and now 28 adult blind and partially sighted men and women of 20 years plus are practicing bee keeping in their home. In addition, I am playing the auxiliary role of running the affairs of the organisation with support from different expertise and other director.
